In this kids session your child/ren will get to choose a pre-made pot and paint it with underglazes. We will then glaze and fire the piece for them, and they will be able to collect their piece 1 week later.

We will have an experienced potter facilitating the session and guiding your child/ren through the creative process. The emphasis will be on fun and creativity!

Included costs:
The price includes the firing and glazing of one finished piece per child. If they would like to paint more than one piece, additional pots can be paid for at $5 each.

Please bring:
Your child/ren may want to wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty, potting is a lot of fun and a little messy!

Drop off and Pick up:
You can drop off your child/ren between 10.15 and 10.30. Painting will start at 10.30am sharp. You can pick up your child from 12pm and 12.15pm. Parents are welcome to stay with their child/ren for the session too.

Collection of finished pieces:
It will take 1 week for us to glaze and  fire the pieces, with a durable shiny finish, and then high-fire them to seal them. All creations can be collected after 1 weeks time, within the hours of 9.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 1pm Saturdays.

Terms and conditions:
The Waikato Society of Potters (WSP) reserves the right to cancel a class if it fails to achieve minimum enrolment numbers, for reasons outside of our control. A full refund will be given if the class is cancelled by the WSP less a 5% credit card fee. If a student cancels their enrolment within 72 hours of the first class starting, no refund will be given. If a student cancels their booking less than 7 days prior to the event a 50% administration charge will be deducted from the refund. Should a student cancel their enrolment any time prior to the above a 20% administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
