9.30am - 12.30pm on Mondays for 8 weeks
Classes run from 14 October to 9th December.
NB: There will be no class on 28th October due to public holiday (Labour Day)
Suitable for beginner potters or those who have done a wheel throwing taster and wish to develop a little further.
A nurturing class to guide beginners on the start of their journey in basic throwing on the pottery wheel. This class will suit beginners or if you have done a taster session, Sarah will guide you through wheel thrown projects.
Clay and firing are not included in the cost and are extra. Clay may be purchased from the studio.
Your tutor:
Sarah Steed is a local professional artist with a broad background. Having studied ceramics in the UK, Sarah went on to graduate from The Norwich School of Art with a BA hons Fine Arts Degree in sculpture. Sarah has taught a variety of ceramic classes to both children and adults.
Terms and Conditions
The Waikato Society of Potters (WSP) reserves the right cancel a class if it fails to achieve minimum enrolment numbers, for reasons outside of our control. A full refund will be given if the class is cancelled by the WSP less a 5% credit card fee. If a student cancels their enrolment within 72 hours of the first class starting, no refund will be given. If a student cancels their booking less than 7 days prior to the event a 50% administration charge will be deducted from the refund. Should a student cancel their enrolment any time prior to the above a 20% administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
WSP does not provide makeup sessions or credits for classes that you have missed due to your personal circumstances.
