Monday 8th of July, 6pm-9pm
A one-night class where you will learn how to reclaim your clay scraps and turn them back into usable clay! This is great knowledge that will save you money and reduce the amount of waste going back into the environment.
Topics include slaking, methods for drying, and pugging or wedging.
You'll get to use the WSP pug mill, which makes wedging your reclaim a breeze. This marvellous machine is available for you to use at any time, so this is a great opportunity to learn how to operate it!
If you have a bucket of clay slops you haven't been able to dry out, bring it along and we will make the club's plaster batts available to you to help with the drying process.
Your tutor:
Larissa Milsum is a very experienced potter with a wealth of knowledge about all things pottery, including clay reclaim! She creates a relaxed and informative learning environment.
