Everyone is welcome at our fun and intimate workshops run over the course of three weeks. If you love to be creative but don't know where to start this course is for you. We go back to basics, mixing colours, learning brush techniques and getting comfortable drawing and painting. In our final class we'll use everything you've learnt to create a masterpiece. We hope to give you the confidence to start a new hobby and the know how to paint at home in your spare time.
Upon completion, artists leave with an A5 wet strength sunset painting and a 12" x 16" (31cm x 41cm) canvas painting.
*under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.
Enthusiastic and creative by nature, Susanna is an artist with a love for all things arty and a passion for working with people. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Imaging and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, she now teaches art at Tauranga Girls College. Susanna loves to share her experience and knowledge with others and believes the world is a better place with more artists.
Sarah works for a charity in Tauranga and spends most of her spare time painting and being creative. For the last year and a half Sarah has been running evening acrylic and watercolour classes in the Bay of Plenty and is excited to be back teaching evening classes with Susanna again. Sarah loves learning new techniques and teaching others, hoping to inspire others to take up a new hobby and get creative too.
Sarah and Susanna want to create a space where everyone feels comfortable to try new techniques and learn something new.
