This is a true master-class. A complex, multi-part mold making workshop that covers a variety of techniques and materials - check out the promotional video for the workshop.
Unlike other skills, in sculpture there is a big scope of things you need to learn about if you want to make the most of your work. Sculpting is just one part of it.
The next level is how to preserve your work by molding and casting it in a durable material. In order to get that experience, you need to learn more about the hundreds of materials to be found out there, also the procedure of making your own molds. This is usually one of the main concerns students have.
We will cover some of the main materials used to mold and cast sculptures; providing you with the information you need to go ahead and source them for yourself. If you are joining us in a workshop you will be molding your own work!
Your work needs to meet the criteria explained in the PDF and needs to be submitted for approval.
