Waikato Society of Potters has a treat for experienced throwers.

We are excited to be hosting New Zealand ceramic artist Chris Weaver who is internationlly renowned for his innovative contemporary tableware. The 2-day workshop is an opportunity for experienced throwers to have a hands-on wheel work class with Chris. Generous with his "secrets", Chris will provide demonstrations of the throwing and altering techniques he has developed across his 40 year career: even the most angular of the teapots that he currently makes start off as a thrown form.
