Slip can be a very versatile way of adding colour to your ceramic work. It’s great for both functional and sculptural work and in this practical and hands on workshop, we’ll explore many ways as to how you can use slip in your practise.
This workshop an introduction and teaser to various techniques and possibilities. You’ll be able to work on your own pieces during the day and by the time you go home, you’ll hopefully have many new creative ideas to pursue.

Application - how and when (for ex banding, slip trailing, sponging & brushing)

Sgraffito
The cost includes materials to make slip, including stains, and the use of tools and equipment. Firing is extra. Bring along your curiosity, greenware pots/sculptures (leather hard and bone dry) and bisque ware to experiment with.
