This event is for employers who are interested in learning more about the First Move programme so they and their employees learn how to correctly move their body to reduce strain-related injuries.
During this practical session, Alison will demonstrate why traditional manual handling programmes have not been effective in reducing strain-related injuries and will present the steps required for a successful manual handling programme. These practical tips can be used in your own life to take care of your physical well-being. Wear comfortable clothes, bring your afternoon tea and a drink bottle as there is a practical component to this session.
